Oh man, I spent most of my babysitting money on those things - preferably TDKs. Was eventually wealthy and cool enough to buy a double-tape deck to make my own mix tapes. Did a lot of 18th and 21st birthday soundtracks for mates that way. Ah the memories....

My 77 vw bus has a cassette player! I bought one of those tapes with the cord and play my ipod in it. YAY!
You think thats retro? I recently found some 8-tracks in my garage.

I spent a lot of time and effort making mix-tapes in order to get laid.
Now I make MP3's.
